Choosing to hire a Doula is one of the best choices you can make for your pregnancy and birth. Doulas can help you with not only evidenced based information on your pregnancy and birth plan so you can make the best decisions for you and your partner, but also continuous labor support is imperative to helping you and your partner advocate for your desires for you and your baby. My approach to being hired as your doula is that I want to meet you (whether that’s a video call or in person) and I want you to interview me . It’s important that we both feel that we are the right fit for each other. What I can tell you about me upfront is that I have 17 years of experience in the birth space. I believe women and families deserve evidenced based information, true informed consent, continuous labor support and someone who supports their intuition and believes in them. I want you to walk away from your birth knowing you were in control, and believe the power of that will also set you up for positive postpartum experience. That is why all of my doula clients also get professional birth photography included in package. How many images and what that looks like depends on your support needs , but I believe being able to look back and process your birth, both you and your partner being able to not worry about getting pictures and just being in the moment is so important. I will provide you with information and tools on how you can cope with labor, I also have a TENs unit available if desired for your use. When all is said and done , I will present you with your images so you can see just how amazingly brave, fierce , and strong your are ! I believe processing your birth is so important, both with the people that were present and with images of your power and bravery. I don’t care where you birth your baby, only care that it is where you want to and feel the most supported !

My goal in being your doula is to make sure you are the most prepared you can be in order to have the birth you envision. I do not believe there is one tried and true method that is perfect for everyone when it comes to pregnancy and labor support. That is why it is important for me to get to know you and your partner , your goals and desires surrounding the birth of your baby (or babies!)
